These E.T. laserdiscs I will try to save. The box & sleeves were destroyed by #Sandy. They may have ‘laser rot’ by now though.
Artifact: A Long Time Ago… (before #Sandy that is) I was a collector. #StarWars
One of about eight different round Star Wars: Return of the Jedi tins from 1083 I had in collection destroyed as a result of Superstorm Sandy. In addition to the round ROTJ times, I had rectangle TESB tins as well that suffered the same fate. Pictured above is the backside of the tin. The front side is illustrated with different scenes from the film.

Virgin Media Presents An “Illustrated Guide” to #DoctorWho by Sam Gilbey
50 years of Doctor Who, (for Virgin TV)
Well, this one was pretty epic, but awesome fun too. Deliberately called it an illustrated guide rather than an infographic, but hopefully it will give folks some background info on the long history of the character, as well as some interesting factoids and trivia.
Tumblr doesn’t like really tall images, so I had to split this up into three. Click for larger preview/closeup.
