I wasn’t as lucky with this old G3 or G4 PowerMac. The HDs were on the bottom & flooded by #Sandy. Well, I’ll salvage whatever else I can from it.
What I salvaged from the destroyed Mac Quadra 650: A couple of HDs, floppy drive, & RAM. FU #Sandy (oh, and an old motherboard battery, presumed dead now).
Success! I pried opened the case. The hard disk wasn’t destroyed by #Sandy even though the rest of the Mac was unfortunately.
Wrestling with my old Mac Quadra 650 destroyed by #Sandy to get the HD out. The bolt keeping the case on seems stripped and corroded, I can’t open it.
